We don’t include candies with “no gluten ingredients” that are “possibly safe.” Why? Because no gluten ingredients does NOT mean gluten-free. Shared equipment, cross-contamination, and vague manufacturing practices put individuals with celiac disease at real risk.

Why Only Candy With a Gluten-Free Claim?
Some manufacturers may not test or label their candy even if it technically meets the criteria. Others may use ambiguous statements like “no gluten ingredients,” which offer no legal guarantee that the product is safe.
We don’t think that’s good enough.
At Zero For Life, we only recommend candy from brands that either:
- Clearly label their products as gluten-free, or
- Publicly state that their candy is produced and tested to meet the legally defined “<20 PPM of gluten” threshold set by the FDA.
